Look better. Feel great. Achieve peak performance.
Whatever your reasoning for getting off of the couch and hitting the gym, congratulations on making that commitment. The key to any fitness journey, though … is consistency. It’s about being dedicated in your approach to getting off the couch on a regular basis to stay active and fit and live a healthier lifestyle.
But, let’s face it, some days you just don’t feel like exercising. It happens. And we all know the major culprits:
Too busy. Too stressed. And sometimes … just too tired.
But this shouldn’t stop you from lacing up your shoes and heading out for a workout! In fact, some of my best workouts are the ones that I really didn’t feel like starting in the first place.
Find that motivation. Get up off that couch. Get moving. Focus on just getting through your warm up at first and then maybe one set of that first exercise. I promise that shortly thereafter you’ll feel great and start pushing through the rest.
The benefits of being consistent with your workouts are almost endless. And to help really force this home … my friends at The Personal Training Development Center put together this awesome infographic (below).
Print it out. Paste it on your refrigerator or bathroom mirror. Refer back to it on those days when working out seems more like a chore.
Either way … get after it and get moving.
