A little bit about Pete Cataldo …
After several years in front of the camera as a Television Sports Anchor, I’ve taken my passion for fitness and turned it into a passion and dedication to helping you achieve the best shape of your life. As a Certified Fitness Trainer, Certified Turbulence Trainer and Precision Nutrition Certified Coach, I specialize in helping you burn fat and lose weight utilizing methods proven through science, research and just real world application.
Oh yeah … and I’m not just the coach, I’m also a client (queue silly hair-loss product joke here).
See, I know what it’s like to be lost and confused and just plain ol’ outta shape. I’ve been there before: stressed out, depressed, letting the everyday rigors of the 40, 50, even 60 hour workweek get to me. I turned to eating as my crutch.
Working late? No worries, just grab some fast food.
Stressed out? No big deal, food would lighten the mood.
Don’t feel like cooking? Awesome, let’s just order delivery.
See, I know what it’s like to get so wrapped up in everyday life that you forget what it means to actually live your life and focus on the most important thing: YOURSELF.
That was me on a recent Thanksgiving Day holiday. And I was about to crush that turkey. And the potatoes. And the stuffing. And pretty much anything else I could muster to gorge on in one seating.
A guy that was so healthy in my 20s was letting stress and craziness of my early 30s take over.
I knew I was a little chubby. But, I didn’t realize how bad it really was until the chest pains came and forced a trip to the doctor. I was more than 40 pounds overweight. My Body Mass Index (BMI) was simple, yet shocking by its one word result: obese. Whoa.
For the first time in my life, a doctor was telling me that my weight was dangerous and it was time to drop some pounds.
Lucky for me, I had the knowledge to pull up my big boy pants and get to work.
It’s that same knowledge that I’m sharing with you right here and right now on this website.
That’s me today on a recent trip to Italy – even after some pasta and wine and gelato (oh, sweet, sweet gelato) and even more wine. I worked my butt off to drop almost 40 pounds of belly fat to my current size. I’m healthier than I’ve ever been.
And now I’m ready to share my secrets to help you feel the same way.

I’m still a huge sports fan and I live and die with my Florida State Seminoles football (my alma mater) and pretty much any team from the city of Tampa, FL (my home town). While I may work independently, my beautiful wife Angela is still the boss. No kids. Yet. But, the pressure is on for that to happen soon.
